April showers bring May flowers. It was definitely April and there were definitely showers that day. But the signs of May flowers were starting to show all over the place. Here are a few pictures I took on April 18th, 2009 on a trip through the Missouri countryside between Kansas City and Columbia.
I love these cloudy spring day pictures because I can blow out the saturation levels and make the greens really pop. Makes me feel happy!
Fields all over were covered in these purple flowers.
The corn fields were throwing off mist, as if they were about to explode in a volcanic eruption.
