Day 6.  361 miles.  From the ridiculous to the sublime.  I left Price, Utah and the ridiculously hot hotel, traveled through some ridiculously beautiful country near Moab, Grand Junction, and the Royal Gorge, and had a sublime late lunch in Vail.  I enjoyed Summit county so much (I've been there many times before, but fall is probably the best time to go to avoid obnoxious crowds and be able to stay reasonably cheaply) I decided to stay a couple of nights, just to rest and recharge from the trip so far.  Turns out I needed the rest more than anything.  Sublime.

The picture here reminded me of the setting of the movie "Cars".

Once in Vail, I got a chance to take some shots of the village, the people, the flora, and Einstein.  He was enjoying the beautiful afternoon, too!

The third picture here (IMG_0807) is the place where I ate lunch.  Blu's. http://www.blusrestaurant.com

I had a tasty calzone here.  The view from my table was tasty, too.
