Part four of Dave's Train journey - The Ride Home.  Almost all of these pictures were taken in eastern New Mexico.  The rest of the trip was just too gray and cloudy or dark to take any good pictures.  Well start with pictures of the station at Winslow, Arizona.  You'll notice there are a couple of people "standing on the corner" and they look like they are takin' it easy.  I'm not sure if they had seven women on their mind, though.

Here is the view of my seat, and the nice girl across the aisle.  She gave me m&m's.  In the second shot you can see the nice Mexican blanket I bought in Albuquerque, which I immediately lost on my return to Kansas City.

The sun came out and we were treated to a nice sunset in New Mexico.  These shots also can give you an idea of the speed we travel when the track is flat and straight, up to 90 MPH in New Mexico and Kansas!

I usually spent most of my time in the Lounge car.  That's where you have the best view and can socialize with people.

Raton.  It was getting dark here, so these were the last shots I was able to get.  It was completely dark by the time we got over the pass to Trinidad.
